Meal Support

Meal support consists of encouragement, coaching, skill building, and for one of the most challenging times in recovery; meal time. Sessions involve completing the current meal or snack with a provider while using support customized to each patient as well as preparing for any meals later in that day.

Meal support is tailored to each patient; hence the patient’s individual goals, values, challenges, medical status, schedule and support are all considered in the meal coaching experience.

Meal support is typically provided by trainees or peers in recovery, therefore we can offer it at a reasonable cost.

Meal support must be scheduled ahead of time and ranges from 15 to 30-minute sessions. Longer sessions may be available on a case by case basis, please give us a call or fill out the online contact form here.
